About me
A Tolkien enthusiast based in East Yorkshire with an ardour for Anglo-Saxon history and Old English.
I can sum myself up with two quotes, one from John Muir, and the other from myself.
Firstly, John Muir:
”When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.”
Tolkien himself summed this philosophy up in his “On Fairy Stories” essay.
Secondly, me:
”The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings was just what he did in his spare time; you should check the rest of his stuff out!”
